Description
Consisting of love letters written in different languages, Ingo Maurer's Zettel'z 5 encourages the user to interact with the lighting fixture by arranging the sheets of paper to form a chandelier.
A blend of art, sculpture, and light, Zettel'z 5 is composed of 80 pieces of Japanese paper - 31 pre-printed with notes and 49 blank sheets for personalization - that, with the typical tongue-in-cheek fashion of Maurer, are secured to stainless steel wires with paperclips. The result is a unique paper lighting fixture that emits direct and diffused light depending on the arrangement of paper. The design artfully combines the poetic approach to lighting design that Ingo Maurer is known for.
