Molten glass is mechanically pressed into a cast-iron mold at extreme temperatures, a method that demands the material reach a near-fluid state before it can conform to the mold's architectural relief. The resulting surface catches and refracts light across every angular plane, making the glass itself a participant in the composition rather than a passive vessel.
