Rondine by DRAW Studio is a refined armchair that distills Ceccotti Collezioni’s woodworking expertise into a design that feels both sculptural and deeply inviting. Crafted entirely from FSC-certified solid American walnut, the chair balances the clarity of classic mid-century references with the technical sophistication of contemporary Italian craftsmanship. Its name, Italian for “swallow,” comes from the silhouette of the rear structure, where the backrest opens gracefully into the back legs, creating a distinctive profile that is as stable as it is elegant. The generously curved seat and egg-shaped backrest are made from padded curved poplar plywood, giving the piece a soft, enveloping comfort, while brass pivots and discreet magnetic brass discs add finely executed details that elevate the overall composition. Upholstery is available in fabric, leather, or natural leather, and the walnut frame can be specified in a range of finishes, allowing Rondine to be tailored to residential, hospitality, or office interiors with ease.
