Description
This table designed by Jean Nouvel is a minimalist piece with a strong personality. The table's design is characterized by pure geometric shapes, graphic lines, and formal lightness, which are typical of Nouvel's architectural style.
The table's simplicity is in harmony with the solidity of the material and creates an intriguing contrast. The tabletop appears to be thin and light, almost floating above the base. The central support is composed of two volumes that thin upwards, creating two symmetrical bases that support the top. This structure recalls the principle of trilith, where two vertical elements support a third element set horizontally across the top.
The NVL Table is a part of the MDF Italia collection, adding to their tables' collection, and offers a new solution for domestic and contract environments. The round shape of the table is simple and elegant and encourages conviviality among guests in dining rooms or living rooms. In its oval shape, it fits perfectly in contract and working contexts such as executive offices, meeting and representative rooms.
The table is available in various finishes, including lacquered, glossy, or matt versions, as well as reconstructed black Ebony, white Carrara marble, and reconstructed stone. Regardless of the material used, the NVL Table exudes elegance in any environment.
The table now has a new version with a 3-meter top, and the two symmetrical bases are spaced apart to support it. This new size is perfect for large living rooms, meeting rooms, executive offices, and any other environment where many people gather around a table.
