Like a pebble sinuously shaped by the flow of water, Zaha Hadid’s Forma Cheese Grater takes a sculptural approach to design. The naturally inspired form blends functionality with the characteristic forms the acclaimed architect is known for.
Consisting of two elements, the kitchen accessory features a black base that holds a mirror-polished stainless steel grater. The fluid design fits comfortably in the palm of the user’s hand, ensuring a sturdy grip and full control. The grater features a pattern of asymmetrical holes that allow for evenly grated and sprinkled cheese.
With a career spanning over 30 years, the late Iraqi-born and London-based architect transformed the profession with her bold and stylistic neo-futuristic style. The Forma Cheese Grater builds upon the formal studies of her built work, bringing the same architectural exuberance to the kitchen and tabletop at home.
