Vico Magistretti designed the Eclisse in 1965 as a study in controlled light. A rotating inner shell, nested within a fixed outer sphere, allows the user to modulate illumination from a full glow to near darkness, replicating the geometry of a solar eclipse. The mechanism is as precise today as it was at its introduction, and the form has never required revision.
This special edition, produced in collaboration with Netflix, translates the visual identity of Squid Game into three distinct colorways: Guard Red, Player Green, and Doll Yellow. Each is finished in a matte coating and marked with the series logo, connecting Magistretti's postwar rationalism to one of the most culturally discussed narratives of recent years.
