Current Delivery Procedures

Luminaire’s focus on our client and community has always been our first and foremost priority. This focus has only grown in our current state. We are taking every possible effort to make sure that we keep you, our staff, and community safe during all phases of your experience with Luminaire.

For our deliveries, we have implemented stringent guidelines that ensure the highest level of safety for our clients and employees. We take this moment to share how our new delivery process will look like.

Here is what you can expect from our delivery team:

What pre-delivery steps are you taking?

  • Prior to your delivery, the trucks, tools and hands of our team will be sanitized thoroughly.  
  • Masks, shoe coverings and sanitized gloves will be worn.

How are the deliveries being confirmed?

  • Our team will contact you to discuss scheduling delivery. At that time, all necessary steps and precautions will be confirmed. If there are any special considerations or adjustments that need to be made, we will work with you to make alternate arrangements as necessary.

What is the new in-home installation process?

  • We will maintain a 6’ social distance with you.  
  • Our team will be outfitted with face shields, masks, gloves, sanitizer, and other cleaning products.
  • We will make efforts to minimize the number of boxes that are brought inside your home; all furniture will be taken out of its packaging before entering the premises. After installation we will collect all packaging materials in order to properly discard and recycle them at our distribution center. 
  • All delivery documentation will be presented on a tablet. Photos of the service will be taken after completion.  

What other sanitation precautions is your team taking?

  • Overall, please note that throughout the day we will regularly wipe down high-touch items and hard surfaces in the cab of our truck and cargo area such as door handles, knobs, mirrors, steering wheel, gear shift, seatbelts, tablets, mobile phones etc…
