Muller Van Severen ha affrontato la collezione Z24 con la precisione di grafici e la sensibilità di scultori. Il cassettone Z24 riprende il motivo a zig-zag che contraddistingue la collezione in un registro orizzontale, dove il ritmo dei cassetti e delle superfici sporgenti si legge sia come disegno architettonico che come forma fisica.
Realizzato in MDF laccato opaco con legno lavagna e vetro, il pezzo ha una forte identità visiva senza fare affidamento sull'ornamento. Ogni materiale è scelto per la sua planarità e chiarezza, consentendo alla geometria di esprimersi senza interferenze. Il risultato è un contenitore che domina una parete con la stessa sicurezza con cui la serve.
