Progettato nel 2010 attraverso la collaborazione Diesel Living con Moroso, l'Overdyed Coffee Table è definito da un processo di tintura manuale applicato direttamente all'impiallacciatura di frassino, che esalta la venatura naturale e conferisce a ogni superficie un carattere che resiste a una ripetizione esatta. La tintura all'anilina non oscura il legno; lo amplifica, producendo profondità e calore che si leggono in modo diverso al cambiare della luce.
Il piano è realizzato in MDF con impiallacciatura di frassino tinta all'anilina, rifinita a mano per preservare la qualità vissuta che è centrale nell'estetica Diesel. Una base in acciaio verniciato fornisce un contrappunto strutturale, la sua precisione industriale in un quieto dialogo con l'irregolarità organica del legno sovrastante.
