Il Nano UX è un parasole a sbalzo di proporzioni ponderate, progettato da Dirk Wynants per Kettal. Due tendalini compatti a ventaglio estendono l'ombra precisamente dove è necessaria, rendendo il pezzo adatto a terrazze più piccole e ambienti esterni intimi dove un parasole convenzerebbe ingombrerebbe lo spazio.
Il telo è realizzato in tessuto Colorum, un tessuto ad alte prestazioni scelto per la sua resistenza alle macchie e la sua capacità di mantenere il colore sotto un'esposizione prolungata al sole. Un meccanismo di inclinazione laterale consente al telo di seguire l'arco del sole, mantenendo un'ombra costante senza riposizionare la base.
La struttura è offerta in due distinte espressioni:
- Full Black, che abbina una struttura nera a un telo Colorum Black
- Architecture, che combina una struttura laccata Papyrus White con un telo Colorum Marble
Wynants, il designer belga dietro la celebre collezione Extrem, porta qui la stessa disciplina formale: un pezzo che si guadagna il suo posto all'aperto attraverso la moderazione, non lo spettacolo.
