Il tavolo rotondo Mesa Due nasce dai disegni di Lella e Massimo Vignelli, due tra le voci più rigorose del design del ventesimo secolo. Il suo nome ne codifica la logica: due forme, un cerchio e un cono, messe in un dialogo geometrico preciso. Non c'è ornamento, solo proporzione.
La realizzazione del concept Mesa da parte di Poltrona Frau conserva il rigore formale che i Vignelli hanno reso la loro firma in cinque decenni di pratica. La base conica si erge con tranquilla autorità. Il piano circolare estende la geometria verso l'esterno, completando una composizione che si legge chiaramente tanto da lontano quanto da vicino.
