Commissionata nel 1919 per Filiberto Ludovico di Savoia, Duca di Pistoia, questa poltrona divenne il gesto fondante di un'intera filosofia artigianale. Renzo Frau attinse dalla tradizione della bergère francese e la reinterpretò attraverso una sensibilità italiana: generosa nelle proporzioni, cerimoniosa nella presenza, silenziosamente insistente nel comfort.
Lo schienale capitonné definisce il pezzo. Le impunture a losanga cucite a mano creano un ritmo di ombra e profondità che cambia con la luce e l'angolazione, conferendo alla sedia una vita visiva che nessuna superficie piana può replicare.
