Quality and a sense of considered luxury extend outdoors on this terrace in Milan, where style, materials, and technical expertise converge in a series of innovative solutions. The wooden decking extends across the volumes designed by the architect, which become steps that can serve as seating, support surfaces, or planters integrated into the composition. One of these volumes houses the outdoor version of Arclinea's Artusi kitchen. Its materials and engineering deliver a high resistance to humidity together with strong thermal insulation.
The kitchen is fabricated entirely in AISI 316 stainless steel, insulated internally and finished with a magnetic seal that protects the units against infiltration and insects. At the client's request, it was specified with a Fulgor barbecue element consisting of four gas burners beneath a lid, and a Miele induction hob. A pull-out base cabinet located beneath the single-bowl sink, together with a thermal container, allows food and beverages to be held at the desired temperature.
