The two-story villa in Geneva is the work of JM Architecture. Pared back in concept, the project resolves into two principal volumes, one white and one black, set in a quiet play of geometries and tones, with generous glazing extending the interior toward the landscape. Working alongside Jacopo Mascheroni's studio, Interni's Creative Team curated the furnishings, pairing pieces from the leading Italian houses with icons of international design.
The entrance door is framed by two Overscale Flames Outdoor by B&B Italia. A neutral palette of black, white, and warm oak plank flooring sets the tone. In the entry, Knoll's Womb Armchair is paired with a Lithos side table by B&B Italia topped in Calacatta gold marble. Beyond, the plan opens into a single volume housing the dining room, kitchen, and living area, where full-height windows run the length of the space and frame the garden.
In the dining area, the Manta table by Rimadesio, finished in black oak, is set with Grace chairs by Poliform upholstered in ardesia leather. The living area is anchored by the Bristol sofa by Poliform in dark gray fabric, flanked by PK20 leather armchairs by Fritz Hansen and Lithos side tables by B&B Italia. Two further side tables, both by Poliform, complete the arrangement: the rectangular Tribeca with a matte petit granit stone top and the round Mondrian in black elm. Two Mirto ottomans by B&B Italia and a low Self console by Rimadesio round out the composition, the latter serving as the support for the Taccia lamp by Flos.
The upper floor accommodates the bedrooms, a study, and guest rooms. It opens onto a small lounge furnished with the Embrace Lounge Chair by Carl Hansen, an Atoll sofa by B&B Italia in light gray fabric, and a Mondrian coffee table by Poliform. The bedrooms follow in sequence, each opening to the outdoors, and a measured harmony of color and material throughout creates an atmosphere of calm.
