Set a short distance from Como, Casa Eupilio is an old family residence reworked by the Milanese studio of Gianluca Tronconi in collaboration with Interni. The central challenge of the project was preserving the traditional character of the brick facade while updating the interiors to support the active lifestyle of the young couple who own the house.
To meet the brief, the studio introduced a fully equipped gym and a sauna for repose. The house also includes a contemporary wine cellar suited to tastings, while outside the garden and the family's long-standing vegetable plot sit naturally alongside a new swimming pool and a patio with an outdoor kitchen.
The furnishings work within a palette of neutral tones, with pieces drawn from Rimadesio, Arclinea, Maxalto, and Flos. The material selection, resin, wood, marble, and leather, pairs aesthetic register with function to produce a refined contemporary interior.
