Sebastian Wrong

Nato nel 1971 | United Kingdom

Sebastian Wrong is a British designer and creative director whose work is distinguished by formal clarity, technical sophistication, and a rare ability to move between artistic instinct and industrial production. Born in 1971, he originally studied sculpture before establishing his own manufacturing company, a path that gave him both a sculptor's sensitivity to form and a deep understanding of how objects are made. That dual background continues to define his work across furniture, lighting, accessories, and gallery-related projects.

He is especially known as a founding figure of Established & Sons, the influential British design company launched in 2005, where he has played a key role in shaping a culture of collaboration, experimentation, and contemporary British design. His work with Flos also helped cement his international reputation, particularly after the presentation of Spun Light at Salone Satellite in 2002 and its subsequent relaunch by Flos in 2003. Across all of these projects, Wrong's design language remains intelligent, elegant, and materially assured, bringing together craft, manufacturing knowledge, and a quietly sculptural presence.
