Pauline Deltour

Nato nel 1983 | France

Pauline Deltour was born in Landerneau, Brittany, France, in 1983. She studied applied arts at ENSAAMA and industrial design at ENSAD in Paris, graduating in 2007. While still a student, she joined Konstantin Grcic's Munich studio, where she contributed to projects for international manufacturers and developed a rigorous understanding of materials, production, and function. In 2010, she returned to Paris and established her own practice, introducing A Tempo for Alessi, a wire collection that emerged from her graduation research.

Deltour developed a remarkably broad portfolio spanning furniture, lighting, tableware, textiles, jewelry, technology, and public spaces. She collaborated with brands including Puiforcat, Hem, COR, Trudon, Lexon, Tolix, CVL, Alessi, and Established & Sons, creating pieces that balanced industrial clarity with graceful form and carefully considered color. She received a Red Dot Design Award and became the first woman appointed Professor of Product Design at ECAL in 2016. Deltour died in 2021, leaving an influential body of work defined by precision, versatility, and exceptional character.
