Marcel Wolterinck

Nato nel 1960 | Netherlands

Marcel Wolterinck is a Dutch interior and product designer whose work is defined by warmth, balance, and a sophisticated relationship between architecture, landscape, and daily life. Born in 1960 in Groenlo, the Netherlands, he began his career as a master florist, the highest level in floral design, before opening his own flower shop in Laren in 1986. That early practice laid the foundation for the distinctive Wolterinck signature, a language first expressed through floral compositions and later expanded into interiors, gardens, architecture, styling, and product design.

Over the years, Wolterinck has built an influential multidisciplinary studio known for creating complete environments with a strong sense of cohesion and serenity. His work is especially admired for its use of wood and other natural materials, its seamless dialogue between indoor and outdoor living, and its ability to feel polished without ever losing comfort. Collaborations with brands such as Linteloo have extended that vision into furniture, where pieces like Cervino, Dallas, and Luna reflect his calm, tactile, and quietly luxurious approach to contemporary design.

I enjoy design in which the outside and inside grow together and towards each other, overlapping and connecting.
