Mandalaki is an independent design studio based in Milan, founded in 2012 by Enrico De Lotto, George (Koli) Kolliopoulos, and Giovanni Senin. Davide Giovannardi became a partner in 2013. The studio describes itself as a product and consulting design firm working at the intersection of art, design, and technology, with an approach that combines industrial and artisanal processes to create pieces with strong conceptual value and precise visual identity.
Across lighting, furniture, architecture, and installations, Mandalaki has developed a language defined by essential forms, technical research, and immersive atmosphere. The studio is especially recognized for its Halo Project, an extended investigation into the nature of light in which illumination becomes a sharply defined graphic projection rather than a conventional light source. This work helped establish Mandalaki as a distinctive voice in contemporary design, with projects ranging from collectible lighting to modular micro-architecture such as Monocabin.
