Le Bois d’Ylva

Le Bois d’Ylva is a French design studio founded by Natacha Heitz, whose work transforms local wood into expressive objects shaped by nature, fire, and a deeply personal sense of beauty. Working from her atelier in Molines-en-Queyras, Heitz creates vases and decorative pieces that reveal the tactile richness of pin cembro through turning, carving, burning, and subtle color application. Her signature cRAKŬ texture, developed through experimentation with flame, gives each object a crackled surface that feels at once raw, sculptural, and quietly luminous.
