Each year in April, the Salone Internazionale del Mobile materializes in Milan, Italy as the largest and most celebrated design fair in the world. Designers, curators, manufacturers, scholars and a variety of people interested in contemporary design. And each year at the Salone, Luminaire scouts the best designs to bring back to our showrooms and present to an American audience, allowing more people to have access to good design.
During the NeoCon World’s Trade Fair 1994, the largest trade fair in North America, Luminaire unveiled a hand picked selection of new products from the Salone del Mobile. The Chicago public and design lovers from all over the globe witnessed the future of design as they engaged with pieces never before seen in the US.
