Coinciding with the second edition of Frieze LA, on Wednesday, February 12 Luminaire and Flaunt magazine brought together key LA figures from the world of art, music, entertainment, architecture and design in celebration of the Home Issue: A Return. Hosted at Luminaire’s West Hollywood showroom, the special one-night photo exhibition featured snapshots from inside the residence of LA’s most interesting denizens.
Following the idea of how certain nooks and corners allow for the juxtaposition of objects, space, and architecture, a curated list of participants were invited to share a glimpse into their homes and photograph their favorite “corner” within.
Kicking off the evening, Flaunt’s editor-in-chief Matthew Bedard introduced a small panel including Tatiana Barhar, Clive Wilkinson, Susan Kleinberg, and Andi Elloway who discussed the exhibited photograph of their “corner” while sharing the personal relationship they have with their home. Throughout the evening guests enjoyed champagne and passed hors d’oeuvres while experiencing an ambient DJ set by Jonny Mons.
