This year we are celebrating great anniversaries in Luminaire history! 25 years ago we opened our doors in a new city, Chicago, and to celebrate we are and having a week-long sale. From the unmistakable aesthetics of Zaha Hadid designs, to the immediately identifiable minimal lines of Porro’s contemporary pieces, to the classics of B&B Italia, we will have pieces in the showroom that stand the test of time.
From the very beginning, 40 years ago in Miami, Luminaire has strived to democratize design. We believe that good design is not just for a select group of people. Everyone should know and learn what good design is and feels like. Good design is visceral and creates a moment for each person that transforms his or her life – beyond the space he or she inhabits. Our philosophy is to be more than a showroom; to educate and build relationships that last beyond a purchase. We are proud of the relationships we have built through these last 25 years in Chicago, and we would like to say thank you.
