Luminaire makes its annual journey to Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, one of the most important international events in the world of design. Follow us throughout the Salone fair week to experience the thrill of discovering new design April 16-22, 2018.
Starting Monday, April 16, we will post regular updates to our website as well as share our favorite moments and spaces from the city’s design events via Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. From the Rho fairgrounds to the urban exhibition spaces, majestic palazzos and the cozy streets of Milan, we will uncover the best that Milan and the design world have to offer for 2018. Our annual exploration to one of the most important design events of the year allows us to connect with design luminaries and discover new products.
The Salone is the global benchmark for the Home Furnishing sector that made its first appearance in 1961, with the aim of promoting Italian furniture and accessories to the export market. While it has continued to do this, it has exponentially grown to encompass design from all over the world, acting as the primary platform for the brightest stars of the international design community and serving as an invaluable source of inspiration for the thousands of people who visit each year. This year marks the return of the biennial event EuroCucina which will generate inspiration and determine future trends for the kitchen of tomorrow.
