Celebrating 15 spectacular years of bringing good design to South Florida, Luminaire hosted a series of joyfully engaging and intellectually stimulating events, including an evening gala, a design exhibition, a ‘Design for Industry’ forum and a design competition juried by six internationally renowned designers.
Among the guest designers were Massimo and Lella Vignelli, Pascale Mourgue, Peter Maly, Pirkko Stenros and Paolo Piva, a superstar team of creatives who shared their stories and inspired guests with their insights and spirited conversations. Design manufacturers enlightened guests to the creative processes behind design. Piero Busnelli of B&B Italia, Peter Fahlsbusch of Interlubke, Raimo and Ritva Vaara of Muurame, Paul van den Berg of Montis, Jan Telinatalo of Pastoe and Samuel and Annick Coriat of Artelano illustrated the breadth of work in Luminaire’s collection while keeping all events lively and commemorative.
After 15 years of promoting design as a philosophy that penetrates all aspects of everyday life, Luminaire looked forward to continuing to connect audiences with design luminaries and changing even more lives with good design.
