A dream brought to life. Davide Groppi uses the poetry of reduction and the magic of lighting to realize a dream he had: to bring the moon into the home. In his Moon Pendant Lamp, the Italian designer captures the essence of the moon in the night sky, creating a poetic meditation on the glowing orb hovering above.
The pure, spherical lamp uses Japanese rice paper as a means to create the textural appearance of the surface of the moon. This materiality provides shadows and highlights, giving richness and depth to the minimal light. The paper also acts as a diffuser, radiating a warm glow for a dramatic presence in the home.
