Загадочная и скульптурная форма рожка для обуви Nendo, искусно изготовленного из цельного дерева для японской компании Maruni, специализирующейся на производстве артезианской древесины, не раскрывает своего истинного назначения, пока вы не потрогаете его. Как следует из названия, рожки для обуви изначально изготавливались путем вырезания рогов животных; режущее движение этого рожка отдает дань уважения его происхождению. Изделие состоит из двух частей, скрепленных встроенным неодимовым магнитом. Функциональную часть рожка можно легко отделить от утяжеленного основания одной рукой. Изделие вырезано из цельного куска клёна, что позволяет сохранить целостность текстуры древесины.

  • The shoehorn can be removed with one hand; the stand is weighted for proper resistance
  • When you lift the top part of the cone, the shoehorn comes away with a conic section
  • The shoehorn and stand, connected by an embedded neodymium magnet, are carved from a single block of wood for complete continuity of the wood grain
  • Made of maple with a urethane finish
