Складывая плоские геометрически узорчатые стальные элементы в сферические формы, Nendo создаёт элементы освещения, создающие ощущение движения. Светильники «Танцующие квадраты» кажутся вращающимися, но устойчивыми благодаря своим плоскостям и излучают свет в разных направлениях благодаря уникальному узору из объёмных и пустотных тел. Глубоко концептуальные, получившиеся формы представляют собой поэтическое единство игривой скульптуры и функционального дизайна. Изначально задуманные как часть выставки японского дизайнера «Танцующие квадраты» 2011 года, эти светильники были запущены в производство благодаря своему удачному дизайну. Доступные в трёх размерах — высотой 34, 54 или 74 см — они оснащены шнуром длиной 75 дюймов, который можно подключить как подвесной светильник, или оснастить входящей в комплект вилкой для использования в качестве напольного или настольного светильника.

  • The dancing square lamps play with shape and light - a sphere is made from a series of squares resulting in solids and voids that allow light to pass through in a playful manner
  • The pieces appear to be frozen in time and space and at times they defy physics, warranting an inquisitive look and a tentative touch.
  • Versatile enough to be placed on the floor or hung from the ceiling, each lamp is complete with a 75 inch cord that may be hardwired to the ceiling or adapted with the included plug to be used as a floor lamp and plugged into the wall
