Each bowl by Stinson Studios, crafted in a one-hundred-year-old horse stable in the backwoods of Eastern Ontario, is imbued with the family tradition of handcrafting wooden bowls and burls from locally sourced wood and character-rich damaged trees. Turned on a lathe, the wood is transformed into stunningly sculptural functional objects, each refreshingly unique. Available in natural oak, ambrosia maple or ebonized oak, the bowls are inspired by the traditional "butter bowl" historically used in farming households for mixing salt into freshly churned butter. Smooth and simple, the finished Round Wood Bowls are impactful even when empty but are suitable for everyday use on the table.
