Designed as an inverse counterpart to the Plank coffee cups, the Plank Milk and Sugar Bowls by Nendo for Zens reframe the logic of the tabletop accessory. Where the cups wear their wooden plank as a saucer beneath, here the wood rises as a lid, held precisely in place by an upraised handle and, in the case of the sugar bowl, by the sugar spoon itself.
