Mod. Project began as an answer to a genuine architectural problem: how to deliver a fully resolved kitchen within the constraints of a compact floor plan. Andrea Federici approached this not as a reduction, but as a discipline, drawing on his earlier Small Living Kitchens research to produce a system that holds its own formally and functionally at any scale.
The system accommodates an island, snack table, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, and storage within approximately 2.5 square meters. That density is achieved without visual compression. Proportions are calibrated so the whole reads as a coherent object rather than an assemblage of appliances.
Material configurations allow two-tone compositions pairing Fenix and high-quality melamines across fronts, sideboards, island tops, and sides. Finishes range from white and saturated color to wood-effect surfaces, giving each installation a distinct chromatic identity while keeping the underlying geometry consistent.
