That charged stillness, the tension between rest and motion, gives the IC Floor Lamp its quiet authority.
A hand-blown opaline glass sphere rests at the end of a slender steel arm, each element proportioned so that neither overwhelms the other. The relationship is deliberate. This is a study in balance rather than decoration, form reduced to its most considered expression.
The opaline sphere diffuses light evenly and without drama, casting a warm, unassertive glow that recedes into atmosphere. The steel structure is available in black, brass-plated, or chrome-plated finish, allowing the piece to hold a different register in each context without altering its essential character.
