Cenote by Agape is a freestanding bathtub designed by Patricia Urquiola, inspired by the ancient cave sources of fresh water that held mystical significance in pre-Columbian culture. Its naturally irregular, hand-worked exterior gives the piece a raw, primordial presence, while the polished enamel interior creates a refined contrast between texture and smoothness.
Each Cenote bathtub is unique and impossible to replicate, conceived as a timeless object shaped by material, gesture, and atmosphere rather than trends. Presented as a prototype and currently under development, the bathtub is made in solid surface gelcoat and brings a sculptural, contemplative presence to the bathroom landscape.
