Designed by Lucie Koldova for Brokis, Starcloud is a system of hand-blown glass pendants that assembles into a suspended celestial composition. The individual forms, named Atria, Lyra, and Vega, are each blown by Czech glassmakers using techniques rooted in Bohemian craft tradition.
Opaline glass gives each sphere its characteristic softness, diffusing light from within rather than projecting it outward. The glow shifts subtly as the eye moves around the installation, evoking the variable luminosity of stars seen at different distances and angles.
