Miss K Table Lamp

Proving to be one of the most successful lamps in the Flos collection, Philippe Starck’s Miss K table lamp is built on the designer’s ability to translate his insight on social and cultural changes into an object that balances form and function with added wit and character. Manufactured in transparent injection molded polycarbonate, the Miss K table lamp has a clear base and stem with an external aluminized shade which emits a warm light. When unlit, the polycarbonate lampshade shows subtle detail with a dark metallic tint. When lit, the table lamp appears almost like an x-ray, with the bulb starkly visible behind the now-clear illuminated shade. The fluid pedestal base of the table lamp is clear at all times.
