Lia by Zanotta is a dining chair designed by Roberto Barbieri in 1998 and 1999, developed through advanced research into aluminum-frame seating. Its side structure is formed from a single die-cast aluminum alloy element that holds the front leg, back leg, and backrest, giving the chair exceptional clarity and technical refinement.

The frame is available polished or painted in talc, graphite, or black, with seat, back, and armrests upholstered in polyurethane. Removable fabric or leather covers, or non-removable cowhide upholstery, allow Lia to adapt to refined dining rooms, meeting spaces, restaurants, and work environments with tailored precision.
