Description
Cloud is a versatile and modular bookcase that is crafted from durable white polyethylene. Created using advanced rotational technology, each element of the bookcase can be used horizontally or vertically and can be combined with other Cloud units to form unique cloud-like structures. The elements come equipped with two white metal pressure clips that allow for easy joining of multiple modules. Furthermore, this bookcase is suitable for outdoor use, providing endless possibilities for design and decoration.
Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec are two French-born designers who have quickly risen to become prominent figures in the design world. Their interest in design began in 2000 with a collaboration with Issey Miyake. The brothers have since gone on to create bold and reflective designs that are both poetic and passionate. Their work, which they describe as "micro architectures", offers diverse functional applications and has the ability to transform any space in which they are placed. Their exceptional talent has earned them numerous awards, including "Creator of the Year" in 2002 and "Designer of the Year" in 2003. Their creations have been featured in countless exhibitions and are a part of permanent museum collections around the globe.
