Set along the clear waters of Egypt's northern coast within the residential setting of Hacienda White, The Biophilic Experience reframes domestic living as an organic extension of the surrounding environment. Drawing on the principles of biophilic design that lend the project its name, the residence is conceived as an immersive, sensorial space in which light, material, and feeling sit in measured balance. Interni played a central role by curating furnishings and accessories that reinforce the architectural language and raise the standard of the living experience through quality and design.
Every element of the residence is calibrated to support a deep connection with the natural world. Bright surfaces reflect the daylight and extend the sense of openness, while soft textures and green accents introduce both vitality and calm. The palette, anchored by white and neutral tones, is enlivened by natural materials and touches of green that evoke serenity and a botanical presence. That quiet dialogue sits at the center of the residence, which functions as a space to receive, restore, and inspire.
Aura Egypt and Interni together curated the furnishings to enrich the architectural narrative and to articulate the emotional and sensory dimension of the interior. Indoors, design meets nature directly: the fluid lines of the Boa sofa by Edra invite repose, while the Net low table by Moroso introduces rhythm and transparency. Modular shelving by MisuraEmme structures the space without imposing on it, and playful accents such as the Magis Bird bring a note of liveliness. Considered pieces including the One More Please stools by Kartell and the refined Grill side table by Diabla hold a balance between restraint and character.
The outdoor areas are conceived as a natural continuation of the interior, not as transitional zones but as fully resolved environments calibrated through varying degrees of openness toward the landscape. The selection by Aura Egypt and Interni achieves a measured harmony between function and design, producing what reads as an open-air spa. The sculptural Isla Gomera and Menorca modular sofas by Gandia Blasco define the gathering areas, while the Brixx collection by Dedon, paired with Wave sunbeds by Myyour and the O. seat by Moooi, frames the pool as a place of repose. Finishing details, the Overscale Flames Outdoor oil candles by B&B Italia and Gun rugs by Gandia Blasco, complete the composition, turning the outdoor program of The Biophilic Experience into an intimate and contemplative retreat set within nature.
