Victoria Wilmotte

Born 1985 | France

Victoria Wilmotte is a French designer born in Paris in 1985. She studied interior design at Camondo in Paris and later earned a master's degree in product design at the Royal College of Art in London, where she studied under Ron Arad. After graduating, she returned to Paris in 2008 and opened her first studio, beginning a practice that would move fluidly between furniture, lighting, mirrors, and collectible works.

Her work is especially recognized for its tension between volume and void, straight lines and faceted cuts, often giving metal, glass, and stone a sense of clarity that feels both industrial and highly refined. Brand and gallery profiles consistently describe her process as close to that of a sculptor, subtracting material until form, surface, and light reach a precise equilibrium. Over the years, she has collaborated with brands including ClassiCon, pulpo, and Matiere Grise, while also developing more experimental pieces through her own Paris workshop and VW Factory.

After having made the first prototype I immediately had the desire to continue the series with different sizes, diameters and arrangements to create a whole.
