Denis Guidone is an Italian designer whose practice moves between product design, architecture, and visual communication, with a distinctive language shaped by the dialogue between Milan and Tokyo. He studied architecture at Politecnico di Milano and FAUP in Porto, then developed a multidisciplinary approach informed by both European rigor and Japanese sensitivity. His work is recognized for translating contrast into clarity, merging precision with poetry and restraint with expressive character.
Over the course of his career, Guidone has collaborated with brands including FontanaArte, Roche Bobois, Magis, Ligne Roset, Ichendorf Milano, Serax, Bolia, and Mingardo, among others. His projects often explore light, time, ritual, and atmosphere, giving everyday objects a quieter and more contemplative presence. He has received several distinctions, including the Bruno Munari Prize at the Triennale di Milano, selection for the ADI Index 2010, and the IDA Design Award in Los Angeles. In 2018, he was named an ambassador of Italian design in the world by the Triennale di Milano and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
