Alessandro Dubini

Born 1975 | Switzerland

Alessandro Dubini was born in Lugano, Switzerland, in 1975. He studied architecture and design in Milan before continuing his education at the Higher Technical Institute in Fribourg, where he earned an engineering degree with a specialization in architecture in 2000. That same year, he established his first professional studio in Como, Italy. Since 2004, Alessandro Dubini Studio has been based in Monte Carlo, in the Principality of Monaco.

Dubini's multidisciplinary practice spans product and furniture design, architecture, concept development, art direction, installations, and visual communication. His work is characterized by an intuitive and eclectic sensibility, combining elegance with experimentation, technical innovation, and moments of playful surprise. He has designed for companies including Zanotta, Frag, Varaschin, i4Mariani, Lema, Seletti, Valdichienti, and Mandelli 1953. Projects such as the Aster coat stand demonstrate his ability to transform a familiar object through sculptural construction, material contrast, and dynamic form.
