Dedicated to changing lives through design, Luminaire joined forces with the Wolfsonian FIU Museum to host a magical evening that would benefit five very special AIDS organizations. Six hundred of the most dynamic South Florida elite gathered in individual dining environments that were created by highly reputable designers and architects.

Event tables were designed by Frank Telders and Karl van Horne of Luminaire. The evening started with a champagne reception and a silent auction, and was followed by dinner and dancing.

In hopes of improving the health and overall quality of life for South Floridians, Luminaire and the Wolfsonian supported these multi-cultural, community based AIDS service organizations so that research, care and treatment and emotional support can be provided to those whose lives are touched by AIDS and that education and prevention initiatives can ensure that fewer and fewer people are inflicted with the disease.

By giving guests the opportunity to learn about and contribute to a worthy cause in an environment inspired with good design, the evening resulted in a huge step toward making design a seminal catalyst in improving the lives and health of people all over the world.
