Description
Well-known for their clean lines and minimalist designs, Erwan and Ronan Bouroullec demonstrate how a formal reduction and simplicity of design can breathe life into objects that are both useful and elegant. With the Piani Table Lamp for Flos, the designers have created a series of overlapping flat elements; the upper plane provides direct light while the lower plane, shaped like a tray, becomes a convenient receptacle for pens, coins, paper clips, keys and the other little objects that we never know where to put. These LED table lamps become an elegant 'valet tray' for desks and entrance halls while illuminating the surroundings.
