Made from a single sheet of stainless steel, the knife is folded into its dynamic form and features a blade for the cutting and a double pronged edge for serving. The knife is complimented by the specially designed oak or wenge wood board that features a depression for holding the knife when not in use. The tabletop accessory is designed and produced by Shibui, a Swiss-based company that produces home accessories that are simple, unobtrusive, and useful. Named after the Japanese word referring to a simple aesthetic, Shibui’s products follow the ethos that every form has a function and every detail a purpose.
