Description
The Entravées Sculptures – or "hindrances" in French – are a series of feminine sculptures are that more than a form, than a being. They express strength. A hampered, restrained and constrained force that tries to free itself from the bonds that bind it.
Made of sandstones of different shades, each piece is a unique, handcrafted piece. Designer Audrey Jezic likes working with these raw materials, for their rough, tactile appearance, which invite you to touch. The grain of the chamotte clay brings relief, structure and character to her creations. In her words, she lets the earth express itself without enamel, to reveal varied hues, full of nuances and vibrations.
