Deep Sea Tables

Description
For their first product together, Nendo and Glas Italia push the limits of technical manipulation of color, cut and adhesion in glass with Deep Sea, a collection of low tables and bookcase. In order to achieve the particular blue hues exhibited in the furniture pieces, Nendo used the process of fusing a layer of colored film onto each surface, multiplying the number of sheets to intensify and deepen each shade of successive glass.
The space between the shelves have been combined with a mirror in order to emphasize this spectrum with the furniture expressing a particular depth. Available in green or grey glass, the piece provides a unique harmony in its gradients of colors whether in the form of low tables or a bookcase.
