Industrial metal springs are reimagined as the basis for Tiziana Redavid's line of jewelry. The Chic Pendant takes on an ethereal quality and radiates a texture and lightness evocative of fine silk. The stunning necklace blurs the lines between the imaginative and the industrial and transforms an otherwise common material into a beautiful, wearable work of art. The long spring is doubled together forming the necklace while the metal-wrapped end forms the pendant. The designer, inspired by African design, is able to blur historic elements with modern materials in an unconventional way.
