The Arty Smarty Vase is a substantial yet elegant black vessel with an eye-catching pure hue interior.
The cylinder-shaped vase with a sinuous round bottom and sandblasted black glass exterior are contrasted with a vibrant splash of color of polished glass on the inside. Made of mouth-blown crystal and available in imperial red, night blue, and jade green the vases can be combined to create a rainbow of colors. Working on her own rhythm and with her straight vision on craftsmanship, the Belgian designer Klaar Prims creates distinctive glass objects.
Originally trained as an interior designer, Prims found herself repeatedly integrating elements of glass into her work and a decade ago began to immerse herself in the craft of designing and making glass objects.
Cut, polished and sandblasted, the Arty Smarty Vase is elegant decorative glasswork reminiscent of pop art.
