Freely formed organic vessels, Klaar Prims Amorf Vases are mouth-blown by the Belgian designer in a range of vibrant colors. The sinuous shapes are contrasted with a sharp, polished edge which creates an interesting visual tension. The thick, transparent glass glows as it is lit, radiating a sensual coloration around the vessel as light passes through. Since each glass object is made by hand, no two vessels are the same making each one its own work of art. Originally trained as an interior designer, Prims found herself repeatedly integrating elements of glass into her work and a decade ago began to immerse herself in the craft of designing and making glass objects.
